Vintage Peter Holmes Signed Studio Pottery 6-Piece Bowl Set
Vintage Peter Holmes Studio Pottery Bowl Set
A distinctive six-piece collection of hand-thrown studio pottery by Peter Holmes, dating to the 1970s. Each bowl has an individual organic form, with sculptural handles and richly glazed surfaces in yellow and black. Floral and abstract details lend the set an expressive, natural quality characteristic of mid-century studio ceramics.
The subtle variations in shape and finish reveal the maker’s hand, giving every piece its own presence while preserving a beautifully cohesive character across the set. Signed with an incised backstamp, these original bowls work equally well as sculptural display pieces, trinket dishes or an artful grouping for a considered interior.
The set is presented in very good vintage condition.
