Produced in the 1980s by Kristal Zajecar — one of the foremost crystal manufacturers of the former Yugoslavia, based in Zaječar, Serbia — this compact bud vase is a fine example of Eastern European pressed crystal at its most considered. Weighty in the hand and brilliant in the light, it carries the quiet authority of a piece made to last.

The body is pressed in 24% lead crystal, lending it exceptional clarity and that characteristic rainbow refraction that only true lead crystal produces. A geometric pattern wraps the exterior, punctuated by a thumbprint-cut base that grounds the form and adds tactile depth. The finish is crystal clear, catching and scattering light with every shift of angle — equally beautiful on a windowsill, a dressing table, or a curated shelf.
