Large Chinese Yellow & Blue Porcelain Ginger Jar

Blue Florals on a Yellow Ground

Curling blue stems and shaded blue-and-white blossoms spread across a luminous yellow ground on this substantial Chinese porcelain ginger jar. The lively botanical pattern follows the rounded shoulders and gently tapering body, bringing movement to its classical silhouette.

Geometric blue-and-white borders anchor the foot and frame the fitted lid, whose petal-like band and decorative top complete the composition. Displayed on a console or cabinet, the jar offers a striking interplay of colour and pattern, equally at home among collected ceramics or as a standalone accent.
